The perfect selfcare evening routine: teeth and skin edition

If self care this year looks like caring for your skin, oral and overall wellbeing, then here's a quick, easy, low cost routine you can implement before bed tonight:
Give these things a try and thank me later:
Brush your teeth before washing your face: if you've got active skincare ingredients, then super minty toothpaste can cause irritation around the mouth corners
Massage your facial cleanser for 1 full minute: take your time and enjoy the process! Sending a minute thoroughly cleansing your face and neck ensures that your cleanser will properly break down any make-up, dirt and excess oils leaving your skin absolutely spotless
Spit but don't rinse after brushing your teeth: apply toothpaste to a dry brush and brush for 2 minutes. When you're done, simply spit out and leave that minty residue on your teeth to continue working its magic for longer. Bonus: whack on your favourite song as a rough 2 minute timer! Much more fun.
Invest in a retinol face and eye cream: you absolutely DO NOT NEED a 10+ step skincare routine.
